SUCCESSFUL PICNIC.

MUNICIPAL OFFICERS' CLUB.

The eighth annual picnic of the Auckland Municipal Officers' Social Club was held at Motuihi Island on Saturday, when 200 members and friends attended. The weather was ideal, and great interest was taken in the sports, which were held on the beach. Sports were held for the children in the morning, and ice cream and chocolates were given out on the boat. On _ the return journey prizes won by the visitors wera presented by Mr. J.
