The Of ago crew were favoured by conditions for tlio sixth Corn well Cup race at Evans Bay this morning, as they took an early lead and maintained it to the end, winning by two minutes 45 seconds from Auckland. Christchurch was third. There was a light southerly wind with smooth water, a pleasant change from the boisterous northerly weather which had prevailed for the previous races. Auckland was awarded the seventh race, although the Otago boat was actually first home. Otago was disqualified for fouling Porirua. Porirua was second, Lyttelton third, Plirnmerton fourth, Wellington fifth, Chrislchurch sixth, and Manukau seventh. In tho eighth race, decided later in the afternoon, Lyttelton romped home after holding the lead nearly all the way. Two boats, Wellington and Auckland, capsized, there being a moderate southerly blowing. Christchurch was second, Otago third, Porirua fourth, Plirnmerton fifth, and Manukau sixth. Lyttelton now has two wins, Porirua two wins, Christchurch, Plirnmerton, Auckland and Otaeo one. win each. I _
