INTELLIGENT EXTRAS.
PRAISE FOR BRITISH PLAYERS,
According to Dimitri Buchowetski, the Paramount motion picture director, English screen extras are the most intelligent and most easily directed in the world. Buchowetski came to that decision during the filming of " Stamboul, a Paramount British production featuring Rosita Moreno, Warwick Ward and Henry Hewitt. This is not surprising, however, when it is disclosed that among those employed in sequences were many well-known people and West End actors, whose names, for obvious reasons, must remain unwritten. The daughter of a very distinguished surgeon, a well-known concert artist, a racing motorist, a Canadian heiress, a brilliant woman architect and a muchphotographed mannequin are some who took part in the lavish masked ball scene.
