YOUR MOTIF.

RECAPTURE FEMININE CHARM.

A SACHET OF PERFUME. Always . perfume your handkerchief some hours before you need it. If you tuck it away in your bag immediately, the fragrance will be overpowering when it is withdrawn. A sachet of your favourite scent will perfume your gloves and stockings. Make your own when you aro unable to buy one. Take an ounce of orris root and put a teaspoonful in a basin, then add twenty drops of perfume and rub all together with the back of a spoon. When they are thoroughly mixed add the rest of the orris root and pass tho powder

through a sieve. Now wrap the sachet powder in a piece of blotting paper and slip it into an envelope. A delightful sachet powder which perfumes lingerie so that the fragrance will not spoil the effect of any scent you use can be made as follows: —Dried rose petals, 20z.; patchouli leaves, jOz.; orris root powder, Mix the ingredients together on a sheet of brown paper with a large knife, then wrap them up and pack into envelopes. When you have found a perfume that really gives you pleasure and is not outrageously expensive, do stick to it. Ihis is the whole secret of using perfume for fascination. Men will associate you with that particular odour. It will be your motif, to borrow a musical term, and whenever they become awaro of it they will remember you.
