KAIKOHE HIGH SCHOOL.
SHELVING OF PROJECT. The Auckland Education Board was advised at yesterday's meeting that the Minister of Education was not prepared to consider at present the establishment of a district high school at Kaikohe owing to the cost involved. Mr. E. C. Purdie said Kaikohe's claim for the school was the strongest one that had come before the board. The need for the school was also emphasised by Mr. R. Hoe..
