Bible class conference. [by TELEG'IIArH. —I'RESS -ASSOCIATION.] IX VE R CARGILL, Tuesday. The annual conference of Presbyterian Bi'ble Classes, which began at Invercarg'il on Saturday, shows promise of being as highly successful as those held in the prist. There arc 6]3 registrations to date, delegates being present from all parts of New Zealand, from North Auckland to the Bluff, 'lhe central theme round which nil the conference study and meditation are. planned to revolve is the challenging ideal of " Tlie World for Christ," the title of the study book preparer] by the Rev. 11. Da vies, the Young Men's Bible Class missionary representative in Canton. The daily programme is ;i full one, the morning heing devoted to study circle,; and sectional meetings for Bible Class members and Sunday School teachers, and the afternoons being taken up with sport and recreation, including on different, flays tennis, cricket, swimming, basketball /and athletics. The conference will Conclude on Monday.
