Tho final of the Rawhiti Bowling Club's pairs tourney, played on Saturday between Cornish and Ball Brown and Kerr (Onehunga), resulted m a win for the Carlton pair by 20 points to 19. WRESTLING. PINTO WALKER TO-NIGHT With both men in first-class condition, with a capacity house assured, and with the winner to take the whole of the wrestlers' percentage, the contest at the Town Hall to-night between Stanley Pinto, heavyweight champion of New Zealand, and Georgo Walker, British Empire champion, has numerous points of attraction. Heavy booking has been recorded and it appears that there will be a house worthy of the meeting of two champions in the outstanding match of the year. This will be the fourth meeting between the pair, a decision having gone to Pinto when Walker was disqualified in Wellington. The (tther two bouts ended in a draw. Walker is confident lie will beat his rival on this occasion and he has accepted the American's termß for the winner to take the whole of the gate receipts, less the usual expenses. The last time a winner-take-all bout was staged in Auckland, Walker was successful and it will be interesting to see if he can, lower Pmto's colours and earn th© best purs© of the season.
