AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS. EXCITEMENT AT DUBBO. FOUR AGITATORS QUIT TOWN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received November 22. 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 22. The town of Dubbo, 226 miles northwest of Sydney, was packed last evening and intense excitement prevailed owing to the refusal of four Communists to leave after a warning that the citizens would put them out this afternoon, "police or no police." W1 icn tlie police were asked what their attitude was they indicated that t/hey "supposed they would have to carry out their orders to protect .the Communists from physical violence." Police reinforcements were summoned from neighbouring towns. The Communists concerned, however, thought discretion the better part of valour. They left Dubbo late last night and so relieved the situation.
