DAUGHTER'S DEFENCE.
MISS ISHBEL MacDONALO. " FATHER HAS DONE RIGHTS Miss Ishbel Mac Donald, daughter of the British Prime Minister, opening her father's election campaign at Seaham last month, isaid : " We have a large army of Labour people all over the country supporting the action of my father and his colleagues." "We are fighting as Labour people under the old colours of green and white. It is going to be a difficult campaign, but it is going to be a victorious one. By this general election Seaham is going to show the country that it has every confidence in its Prime Minister." 7 A man's voice: I doubt it. "My father in the past," continued Miss Mac Donalds, " often faced a situation in a manner which was unpopular at the time, but looking back on his action people now say that he did the right thing, and looking back on his action in the middle of August you and those who come after you will say that he did the right thing."
