FUTURE OF MONICA PARK. AUTHORITY TO ' SELL GIVEN. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. Permission to sell Monica Park was granted by Mr. Justice Adams in the Supreme Court. The application was made by the trustees oT Monica Park. Tlie Canterbury Rugby Football League (Incorporated) appeared to consent. The order was that Monica Park be sold by public auction, the registrar of th(j Court to approve the conditions of sale, and to fix Iho reserves, with power to alter the- reserves if necessary. Power was askod for the trustees to buy at auction, and it was further asked, in order to avoid' the need for repeated public auctions, that after the first sale the right be given to sell by private treaty.
