This is in accordance with the Act. "Worried," Pirongia.—Old age pensioners are exempt from both the general levy and the emergency charge. "Hard Hit."—You may deduct the amount of the debt incurred, but you are liable on J.he net income, if any. and should use form UB 55. Household expenses are not to be deducted. If you are 'unable to pay, you should take the matter up with the Commisrioner of Unemployment. "Perplexed," Taniwha.—lt should be shown on the form that the amount, is a loss. No tax would bo payable, but the declaration is required. "Bamboozled." Matiere.—The loss on the old engine may 'be deducted. Each is required to make a declaration.
