LOSS OF A SCHOONER.
SALT CARGO SHIFTED. FIVE PERSONS DROWNED. RESCUE OF THE SURVIVORS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received November ID, f1.15 p.m.) PANAMA. Nov. 12. Tho crew of the United States minesweeper Swan rescued 11 members of tho crew, including Captain Walters, of the Costa Rica schooner Baden Baden, formerly (he Flettner. The schooner sank four clays ago when a strong gale shifted her salt cargo. Captain Walters, in spite of all his efforts, was not able to save the ship and was injured seriously by falling timbers. Three seamen and the ship's owners, Adolf Schenck and Hans Lau, refused to leave tho vessel and were drowned. Tho other men got off in a lifeboat safely, though they were without food or water for 24 hours. Finally the pilot of an aeroplane sighted tha survivors.
