LILLIAN HARVEY.

FAMOUS ON CONTINENT. ENGLISH GIRL IN VIENNA. Miss Lillian Harvey, the London girl who has become one of Europe's foremost film stars, spent what she described as the most wonderful evening of her life in Vienna recently, watching herself on the screen as the central figure in the new film " Congress Dances." The picture is regarded in Vienna as one of the best, historical films ever produced; and Miss Harvey is receiving the congratulations of all Vienna on her splendid- performance. After holding a regular " court" iri her box at the New Scala Cinema, Miss Harvey presided at a. midnight supper, at which 300 guests were present. In the course of; the film the star is seen in a Viennese wine garden singing a song. On her visit to the city she visited a real wine garden there for the first time.

" My. life's greatest delight," Miss Harvey said, " was pleasing the critical Vienna audienci! with my attempt to realise their ideei of their own little girl of more than a century ago. The scene in the wine garden, which pleased them so much, gave me sleepless nights. I am going to London when my film is produced there in October. 1 have scarcely been there since childhood.

Although " Congress Dances" deals solely with Vienna, all its scenes' were shot». ia- Berlin*
