HAMILTON.
A garden party and " brings nil buy " afternoon was given by the First Claudelands Girl Guide Committee at, the home of Mrs. George Boyes in River Road 10cantly. Afternoon lea was served in the garden. Among those, present were:— Mrs. G. Boyes, Mrs. P. T. Snell, Mrs. W. A. Murray, Mrs. C. A. Palmer, Mrs. McLean, Mrs. Irvine, Mrs. If. Livingstone, Mrs. N. 11. Hooker, Mrs. H. H. Clark, Mrs. Giilam, Mrs. A. Gifford, Mrs. ■!. McKinnon, Mrs. F. A. Snell, Mrs. Blake way, Mis. M. 0. Gudex, Mrs. Sinclair, Airs. \\ heeler. Mrs. H. Toombs, Mrs. F. P. Pinfold, Mrs. E. G. Rollo, Miss Williamson, Miss Osmers, Miss D. Snell, Miss Gifford, Miss Blackniore, Miss G. Hubbard, Miss Sudney. Mrs. J, D. Stephens, of Wesljnere, Auckland, and Mrs. R. A. Rcw, of Marine Parade, Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. H. Curling, of Claudelands. Mrs. C. Leighton, of Auckland, has taken up her residence in Hamilton. Mrs. AT. Bell, of Auckland, lias been the guest of Mrs. Vere Chitty. Miss Nancy Fannin, of Hawke's Bay, has returned after spending some months in Hamilton. Mrs. B. Bealo lias returned to her home in Palmerston North. Mrs. J. Wylie, of Epsom, is visiting Hamilton, and is the guest of Mrs. A. F, Cole.
