ANNUAL STEEPLECHASE.
kowhai high school event The annual steeplechase of the Kowhai Junior High' School was held vesterdily and resulted in a win for Bennett, who also returned fastest time in 13m 12s. Splendid conditions prevailed and about 380 competitors took part. The course, which started and finished at the school, was over a distance of 2 miles 100 yds. Following were the results: —Bennett, Form lI.A Modern, 1; Jones. Form 11.0 General, 2; Blomfield. Form lI.A General, 3.
