CONTINENTAL SYSTEM TO GO. Canberra lias tried (lie system of serving liquor only to persons sealed at, tables, and has found out that tho system is not popular. It has now been decided that bars shall be installed at the Hotels Canberra and Kurrajong. Applications by tho licensees of these hotels for permission to instal bar accommodation have been granted by the Federal Capital Territory Licensing Court. The licensing inspector indicated that the authorities had 110 objection to tho proposed alterations. The system of serving liquor at tables has existed for three years. It is now proposed to convert part of one wing of each hotel into a. barroom.
