YACHTING.
RICHMOND CRUISING CLUB. The Richmond Cruising Club will hold two general handicap races to Beach Haven to morrow afternoon. The races will start at, 3 and 3.S o'clock respectively from off Ponsonby Wharf. Good entries have been received and .some close finishes are anticipated.
The course is from a starting line between Ponsonby Wharf and mark moored northwest.. thence to Rona buoy on port hand, thence to finishing line between Beach Haven Wharf and a huoy moored west. The pile beacon and the reef beacon must he retarded as fairway marks. The three-flag system of starting will be used. Tho officials in charge of the racing will be as follows:—Starter, Mr 1. Dennis; timekeeper. Mr. G. E. Laycock; judge. Mr. T. L. Thompson. Following are the entries and handicaps:--Nomad, scr; Awnhau, 4m; Fsma. Mawaj. Matariki, sm; Wild Wave, Avro. Ranui, Marianne, 6m.
Namu, scr; Opsh, 3m: Atangatni. sm: Sea Dawn, Sea Breeze. 7m ; Maureen, 8m; Phyllis. Pastime, Phnola, 10m; Suzette, 11m.
