CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.

RICHMOND PRESBYTERIANS. The 21st anniversary of St. Mungo's Presbyterian Church, Richmond, was celebrated recently. A social function was presided over by the Rev. F. B. Earton, vicar of St. Stephen's, Ponsonbv, moderator of the charge. Among those taking part were "Mr. 0. Batiman, the present missioner, Rev. Angus Macdonalcl, until recently the minister, and members of the original young men's committee of St. Peter's Church, Grey Lynn, which undertook the work in the Richmond Hall prior to the church being erected. Reference was made to the considerable part taken by the late Mr. Duncan MacPherson in assisting the local workers to promote the building of the church.
