ASSAULT CHARGES.

ACCOUNTANT FOR TRIAL. Pleading not guilty to four charges of indecently assaulting women, an accountant, Bernard Sydney Spencer, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial by Mr. F. K. Hunt-, S.M., in the Police Court, yesterday. The police evidence dealt largely with the accused's association in a venture known as Natural Healers. Two women were concerned in the charges* and it. was stated that, both had received attention from Spencer for cancer. The offences were alleged to have been committed, on August 18 "and 23, and September 11 and 24. Detective-Sergeant Kelly prosecuted. In committing Spencer for trial. Mr. Hunt allowed bail in the sum of £250.
