Taiicred, of the Royal Air Force in Egypt, has been promoted to the rank of flving-offlcer, ar„i is now attached to No. 70. (bombing) Squadron, stationed at Hinadrai, Irak. He is the second son of Mr. (J. H. L. Tancred, of Reinuera. Dr. Rudolf Ivuraz, Consul jn Australia and New Zealand for Czecho slovakia, arrived from Rotprua yesterday. He is making his fust visit to the Dominion, and will return to Sydney by the Ulimaroa to-morrow. In company with Mrs. Kuraz, lie is at the Grand Hotel.
