Mitchell, of Wlianga. rei, are at the Central Hotel. Dr. and Mrs. A. G. Waddell, 0 f Hamilton, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. C. Rutherford Knight, of Christchurch, are at the Star Hotel. Major and Mrs. J. Holliday, 0 f Huddcrsfield, England, are at the Hotel Cargen Mr. K. AHen, of Wangnnui, and Mr. J. C. Bqrnctt, of Rangiora, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. Warwick Gregory, of Wellington, lias been elected president of the re-cently-established Australian Society (N.ZO. Mr. C. R. C. Robiesori, of Wellington, and Dr. H. H. Barnett and Mrs. S. H. Burkitt, of Napier, are at tho Hotel Stonehurst. Mr. G. A. Green, Dominion secretary of the New-Zealand Horticultural Trades' Association, left last evening to attend the annual meeting of the district cotfncil at Wellington. Pilot-Officer H L. Taiicred, of the Royal Air Force in Egypt, has been promoted to the rank of flving-offlcer, ar„i is now attached to No. 70. (bombing) Squadron, stationed at Hinadrai, Irak. He is the second son of Mr. (J. H. L. Tancred, of Reinuera. Dr. Rudolf Ivuraz, Consul jn Australia and New Zealand for Czecho slovakia, arrived from Rotprua yesterday. He is making his fust visit to the Dominion, and will return to Sydney by the Ulimaroa to-morrow. In company with Mrs. Kuraz, lie is at the Grand Hotel.
