The Tofua sailed for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa yesterday morning. She is scheduled to return to Auckland on November 23. THE GOLDEN WEST. In continuation of her Pacific Coast ports the American steamer Golden West iii to fail for Wellington, Nelson, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia this afternoon. MAUNGANUI DUE TO-DAY. The Maunganui will arrive from Sydney at six o'clock this morning, according to her wireless advice. She will berth at Prince's Wharf to land passengers, mail and cargo. ARDENVOHR FROM NEW J&ORK. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the A. and A. Line's chartered vessel Ardenvohr, which is to leave New York for New Zealand on December 15, will unload at Wanganui, as well as at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, THE ZEALANDIC. Having completed loading in New Zealand, the Shaw, Savill and Albion motorship Zealandic is to sail for London, via Cape Horn, at daybreak to-day. The vessel is to refuel at Las Palmas, instead of Dakar, as was formerly intended STOP-WORK MEETING TO-DAY. Ihe usual monthly stop-work meeting of members of the Waterside Workers' Union will be held this In consequence, no cargo work will be done on vessels in port until after 10 o'clock. THE R.M.S. MAKURA. Ihe Union Company has received advice that the Royal Mail liner Makura left San Francisco at 2 p.m. last Wednesday for Wellington and Sydney, via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on November 16. SIERRA CLEARED SUVA. The Matson Line steamer Sierra arrived nt Suva from Los Angeles yesterday morning and sailed for Auckland in the afternoon. The vessel is due on Friday morning and she is to resume her voyage to Sydney at five o'clock the same evening. THE RANGITIKI. To complote loading for England the New Zealand _ Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitiki arrived from Wellington yesterday morning and is at Queen's Wharf. She is to sail for Southampton and London, via Panama, at daybreak on Saturday. THE CANADIAN CRUISER. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Cruiser will arrive from Montreal at fciur o'clock this afternoon, according to her wireless advice. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. She will berth at Prince's Wharf. THE R.M.M.S. AORANGI. After unloading a large quantity of cargo for New Zealand and embarking passengers for Australia the Royal Mail liner Aorangi resumed her voyage to Sydney last night. The vessel i» due at Sydney on Friday morning and she is to sail on her return voyage to Vancouver, via Auckland, Suva and Honolulu, on November 12. THE BRISBANE MARU. A. G. Frankham, Limited, have received advice that the Japanese motor-ship Brisbane Maru cleared Melbourne on Friday afternoon in continuation of her voyage from Japan to Wellington and Auckland. The vessel 13 due at Wellington to-morrow and at Auckland on Friday. From Auckland she is to bo despatched on her return trip to Japan, via Sydney. CITY OF EASTBOURNE. Wireless advice received from the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer City of Eastbourne states that she will arrive from 'New York and Gulf •of Mexico ports at nine o'clock this morning, three days ahead of schedule. The vessel will berth at King's Wharf to unload .cargo for Auckland to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. Her other discharging ports are Wellington, Lyttelton. The Federal Line steamer Northumberland arrived, from Liverpool yesterday morning and berthed at Queen's Wharf to unload cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain. From Auckland she will proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Blus to complete discharge. The cargo was loaded at Avonmouth, Newport, Glasgow and Liverpool.
