the morrinsville club. [from OL'R own correspondent.] MORRINSVILLE. Thursday. There was a record attendance at Ihe jinnual meeting of the Morrinsville Amateur Swimming Club, on Tuesday evening. Ihe president, Mr. "i ardley, presided. The annual report stated, that the h|"h position occupied by the Morrinsville Club in South Auckland swimming affairs was noil maintained. There, was a record club membership of 90 and the standard of swimmin" of those members who represented the dull at various carnivals throughout boilth Auckland was perhaps higher than in previous seasons. Jt was regretted that, the • redit balance had been reduced from ±44 a year ago to £l3. Two carnivals were held du'rin" the season. Tn addition the club Had conducted the South Auckland Central carniTl,e election of officers resulted:—Presi-rl-nt Mr. Yardley: vice-presidents. Messrs. Hanini, Need ham and Chapman; hon. secretary, Mr. C. Mclntyre. auditor Mr. W. McPherson: committee Messrs. Dickinson, W Cameron. J. S. Johnstone, R. Parr. Dench. Barker and Skinner. Chapman and Mclntyre were appointed delegates to attend the South Auckland Swimming Centre.
