LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS. Interest in Rugby League circles to-morrow will centre in the champion of champions match between Marist and Devonport. Marist won the senior championship earlier in the season and defeated Devonport twice by narrow margins. In the knock-out competi--l tion Devonport took the honours and also defeated Marist in the semi-final. On that occasion Marist was not at full strength, but even if the champions field their best team to-morrow they are likely to find Devonport a very difficult proposition. The match should provide one of the fastest and best exhibitions of the season. Tha Ponsonby senior team will play a match at Hamilton to-morrow. The following players have been chosen to make the trip:— Waerea, Drew, L. Riley, P. Skelton, Delgro'sso. Pyke. Sherer, Orams, Fagan, Stevens, Limn, Thomas, McLeay. Gardiner. Byrnes. Goodwin, Wardrope, E. \. I'iiend. MID-WEEK REPRESENTATIVES. The following players will represent the mid-week representatives in a match against Taupiri at Taiipiri to-morrow Chapman, Ragg, Smith, Hallett, Hammond, J. p 'V^, y ' Graham, Kvans, Keesing, Reynolds. Mills, Bowen, Munce. McLean, Turner, Mitchell. Players meet G.P.O. at 10.-15 a.m.
