NINE CHARGES OF THEFT. OFFENDER SENT TO PRISON. [BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Pleading guilty to nine charges of theft from public telephone cabinets, Arthur Edwin Hall, alias Thomas Simpson Clark, aged 31, was sentenced by tho magistrate, Mr. E. D. Mosley, To three months' hard labcur. The total amount taken was £2 9s. The police said considerable damage had been done and the service had been dislocated.
