STERLING IMPROVEMENT. ADVANCE IN DOLLAR RATE. (Received September 30, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, Sept. 29. Sterling quotations continued to show improvement on most important .centres this morning. The rate for telegraphic tiansfers to New York rose to 3 dollars 91 cents.
