Yallop. Although the weather was very changeable and unsettled, with a prevalence of south-west winds, there was a freedom from gales. The total rainfall was 5.12 in., the average for September being 3.66 in. Rain fell on 23 days, the maximumlall of 1.09 in. being on September 9. Ihe rainfall for the year to date is 41.80 in., compared with 36.70 in. during the corresponding period last year, and 35.23 in. in the first nine months ot 1929. There was a total of 175 hours 54 minutes sunshine, the greatest duration being on September 24, when the sun shone for 10 hours 30 minutes. There were two days without sunshine. The mean barometric pressure for September was 29.84 in. The maximum, 30.09 in.. was registered on September 27, and the minimum, 29.50 in., on September 6. The mean maximum temperature was 58.77 degrees, the extreme being on September 20, with 63 degrees. The mean minimum temperature was 47.33 degrees, the lowest, 42 degrees, being recorded on September 12. ____
