Under the will of tho late Dr. Gordon Macdonald two sums, each of £2500, have been bequeathed to the University of Glasgow. One of the sums is to provide bursaries to be applied to the education of children of the poor, and the other amount is to be devoted to the furtherance of education of Gaelic speaking students.
