OFFENCE IN THEATRE.
GAOL FOR OLD OFFENDER. Two charges of indecency were admitted in the Onehunga Polico Court yesterday by Richard Frederick Kent, aged 50. labourer, who was sentenced to two years' reformative detention. Sergeant Brown said tho offences were committed in a theatre at Onehunga on September J5 and 19. Complaints had been received for some time, but it had been dillicult to induce witnesses to come forward to give evidence. Accused had a long list of previous convictions for similar offences both in England and her». He had been eight years in the Dominion and three times had been convicted in Auckland.
