TUG FOR BLUFF HARBOUR.

BOARD CALLING TENDERS. Since the engineer of the Bluff Harbour Board, Mr. D. E. S. Mason, arrived in London on August 8, he ha 3 been in constant communication with the hoard regarding his mission to purchase a new tug. It was reported at a meeting of the board that negotiations for the purchase of a second-hand tug had ceased and that the engineer was inviting tenders for a new tug to he built according to the requirements of the board. It was estimated that tenders would be invited in London on September 28 and would close at Bluff on November 50. The engineer will probably return to New Zealand in April of nest year. An attempted telephonic communication between the board and the engineer was a failure.
