YACHTING.
NEW ZEALAND SQUADRON. Reference to the jubilee year of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron was made by the commodore, Mr. N. L. Macky, at thei annual meeting last evening. He said the season had been a remarkable one on account of the jubilee and the transtasmaa race. The report and balance-sheet, a summary of which has previously appeared in the Herald, was adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron. the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe: commodore, Mr. N. L. Macky; vice-commodore. Mr. J. IT. irater; rearcommodore, Mr. E. H. Nortiicroft general committee. Messrs. H. J. L. George, (J. Metcalfe, R. B. Wilson, J. O Owen. W. J. Keid A T Prnaser, C. Richardson, lv. i. C Mays. G. S. Reid, S. C. Heighway; honorary auditors. Messrs. J. F. Holhnrake and A. M. Mackay.
