THE QUEEN'S BOUDOIR.

While the Court was absent during August Buckingham Palace received its annual renovation. After Cowes Week the King and Queen returned to town for one day on their way to Sandringliarn, and the Queen took that opportunity of inspecting the progress of the work. In addition to some redecorations in tho state apartments, the King's green bedroom is to be repanelled and the woodwork in the Queen's blue boudoir repainted white and silver.
