The question of taxicabs carrying passengers along the Hutt Road in opposition to the liailway Department buses was again before the Police Court to-day when two taxi-drivers, George Bennie and Cyril Victor Smith, were charged with owning omnibuses which were not licensed in a manner provided by the by-laws of the Petone Borough Council. Decision was reserved.
