AUTOMATIC EXCHANGE.
SPORTS' CLUB DANCE.
Held in the attractive setting of the Interhouse Girls' Club rooms, a charming scene wag presented at the second dance of the season of the Automatic Exchange Sports Club, which took place last evening. Sprays of cerise and lemon flowers were suspended from the ceiling in the ballroom, tho orchestral dais being flanked with palms, while in the open space adjoining ihe ballroom and also in a corner of the lounge, bridge was played by some of the guests. Bowls of arum lilies on tall stands and graceful ferns added to the attraction and comfort of the lounge, where tho lights were faintly dimmed with coloured streamers. A novel method of indicating the dances was in the form of an enlarged telephone dial, which worked automatically with electric lights. The excellent music supplied by Meredith's Adelphians received full appreciation.
