CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.

MOUNT ALBERT BAPTISTS. The 16th anniversary of the Mount - Alb?rt Baptist Cliurch was celebrated on Sunday when special services were held. -'.Appropriate messages were given by the T!cv. John Laird and the choir, under Mr. A- Turner, sang several anthems. At the annual congregational social on Tuesday evening the leaders of the various departments gave an outline of the ■year's work, showing that steady pro- '* gress had been made. The treasurer's report stated that £968 had been raised daring the year, £752 for local work and £215 for foreign missions and other work. The permanent building fund, gaid the report, stood at £1054.
