THE LILT.

The lilt, a new dance, based on the Irish jig, was recently performed for the first time in public by its inventor and his partner. The expert onlookers enthusiastically approved the heel-taps and quick turns of the sprightly dance and at its conclusion crowded round the in-, ventor, eager to learn the steps.
