DESERTED BY HUSBAND.

DECREE NISI FOR WIFE. Desertion was the ground of the divorce petition of Edna Eileen Mackiilnon (Mr. Maclwiy), heard by Mr. Justice Ilerdman in the Supreme Court yesterday. Petitioner said she had been married to Kenneth John MacKinnon in December, 1912, and they had two children. In June, 1928, her husband went to Sydney, stating that lie was going to look for work there, and he. wrote to her from the Peoples' Palace, Sydney, in July of that year. She hadsnever heard from him since, and had not been able to trace him. She had been maintaining herself since her husband left her. His Honor issued a decree nisi, to be moved absolute after three months, gave the custody of the children to petitioner and allowed costs against respondent.
