A sensational highway robbery occurred 20 miles outside. Fremantle last night, when three robbers stole £568 from Mr. Jack Mernovich, a foreign contractor. Mr. Mernovich was motoring home with tho cash when he met. (ho three men. They were apparently in trouble with their own car. They asked him tp lend them a lifting jack, and while Mr. Mernovich was looking for it under the seat of his car ho was overpowered and blindfolded and his hands were tied behind his back. Tho thieves stole tho money, cut his tyres, and escaped.
