MAN WHO NEVER WENT TO BED.
It was stated at an inquest at Southsea a few weeks ago on Alexander John Boultier, aged sixty, that he lived alone, never went to bed, was strange in manner, and kept a fire constantly burning all the year round. Boullier was found dead crouching behind tho front door with his scanty clothing burned to shreds. Medical opinion was that probably the man, finding himself on fire, struck his head against the door in a frenzied rush for assistance, and collapsed. The verdict was " natural causes.*'
