LIONS AND AEROPLANES.
Throughout British Africa, hunting lions from aeroplanes has been prohibited. The open nature of African game country has made use of planes for the sport easy for £he hunter. Authorities fear that continuance of the practice may result in extermination of the king of beasts. They believe lions should be protected, since they form a natural check on the size of herds of wild grazing animala,
