AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.

ACTIVITIES IN FRANKLIN. [from our own correspondent.] PUKEKOHE, Friday. Several new classes were added when the schedule for the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society's annual show in February was considered by the executive of the society last evening. These included classes for polo ponies, a shear ing competition for young men and a production class for cows tested under group herd-testing. The hall sub-committee was asked to submit details for a class for farm courts. It was decided to arrange an educational outing for members of the society to industrial works at Auckland during October. - It was also decided to arrange educational lectures on agricultural topics.
