TREE FALLS ON CAR.
NARROW ESCAPE IN APIA.
(Received September 2, 7.5 p.m.) APIA, Sept. 1
While they were driving from Mulifanua to Apia Mr. F. Gotz, the ruanagor, and Mr. N. Macdonald, inspector, of Reparation Estates, had a narrow 1 escape from a falling coconut tree, which crashed with considerable force and badly damaged the front of thdir car. The impact caused the tree top to snap off. The occupants of the car were not injured.
