Tlie seventh annual meeting of the council of the New Zealand Basketball Association wis continued to-ds,y. Mrs.' R". S. Mclnnes presiding over an attendance of delegates representing 13 district associations. A committee set up to consider the tule« and interpretations submitted a report. The Question of holding major and minor suctions in New Zealand tourneys was discussed and' referred to a committee consisting of Mrs. H. D. Mair (Wellington), Miss li. A. Brown.. (Manawatu), Miss F.enny (]?overty Bay), and Mr. French (Auckland). Officers for the ensuing year were elected , an follows:—Patroness;-. 1 Mrs. J,, .G. Coates; president, Mrs. It. S. Mclnnes; secretary aid treasurer Miss M. L. Strathern; trustees. Miss G; Bastian and Messrs. B. C. Galloway and J. A, Doig; hon. solicitor, Mr, J. C. Prain; rules committee, Mrs. H. D. Muir and Miss M. E. Armstrong.
