CONTINUANCE OF FIGHTING.

In spite of exceptional police vigilance robbery under arms and gang .warfare continued unabated over th* week-end. One bandit was killed and a detective was wounded in a pitched battle between the police and a band of robbers, who were caught rifling a shop. Three gangsters were taken bv confederates to an unfrequented part of the - waterfront and were lined up against a wall and shot down. One man was killed and the two others seriously wounded. »>*»*>*
Another*- of the persons who were wounded in Friday's "battle has v died.
