WORCESTERSHIRE FOSTERS.
PARENTS' DIAMOND WEDDING.
LONDON, August 17.
The diamond of the Rev. Henry Foster and Mrs. Foster, parents of the world's mosfc- famous band of cricketing brothers, was celebrated at Aberdovey.
The King and Queen telegraphed them, wishing they might long be spared to their family, " whose marvellous cricketing record is the admiration of-all lovers of the game." '
Six of the Foster brothers came out of Malvern, the school, in the heights of Worcestershire, and played for the county. many, were there, indeed, that the county became known as " Fostershire." ■
The.most famous is.," 11.13.," who mads the tlien.record test match score of 287 for England on the Sydney Cricket Ground, during the 1903-4 tour. He died in 1914. '
