SKELETON ON RIVER BANK.

DEATH FOUR YEARS AGO.

TAUMARUNUI. Tuesday

An inquest was held to-day concerning a. human skeleton found on a steep bank leading from the roadway to the Wanganui River, near Taumarunui. The coroner was Mr. A. S. Laird. From various articles found at the spot the remains were identified as those of Alexander Walker, who disappeared from Taumaruuui on September 19, 1927. A verdict of found dead was returned.
