CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday

A meeting of Reform supporters held at Waiau this evening carried the following resolution .-—"That this meeting of suppotters of the Reform Party in the Waiau, Culvcrden and Rotherham districts, while affirming its confidence in the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates as leader, is of opinion that under the existing circumstances no candidate should be nominated for Ilurumii in opposition to the Prime Minister', Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes.':
