SOCIAL EVENING.
Cards and dancing were enjoyed at fha monthly social evening of the Dunedm Clab, which was held in the Intarhousa Girls' Club rooms yesterday. Tramp whist was played by a number of the guests, and for tboso who preferred dancing, excellent music was supplied by the Kit Kat orchestra. A novel method of allotting supper partners was arranged by the committee, whereby each person present, was given a number, and was requested to meet the person with the corresponding number in the card room, which was divided into different "Dunedin suburbs." Mr. J. W. Shaw was hosfc and was assisted in the duties of hostess by Mrs. W. If. Faulkner in fcha absence of Miss Seideberg. Among those present were:—Mrs. G. Gow, ilrs. G.
