SHAKESPEAREAN RECITAL.

ALLAN WiLKIE SEASON. There was a large attendance at the Town Hall concert chamber yesterday afternoon, when Mr. Allan 'Vvilkia and Miss Hunter-Watts gave another recital from the works of Shakespeare and Sheridan. Among the audience were numerous parties of schoolchildren who obviously enjoyed the items given. To many of them the scenes from " Henry V.," " King John" and " Macbeth" were familiar friends and instruction was to be obtained in hearing the well-knowa words spoken and watching the dramatic action. The selections followed closely tl * initial programme given on Saturday qv .ing and enthusiastic applause followed each item. _ A similar programme wi?. be given this afternoon, a new selection having been arranged for to-morrow evening.
