THEFT OF A BICYCLE.

OFFENDER PLEADS GUILTY. [from our own correspondent.] THAMES, Monday. Charges of stealing a bicycle, valued at £5, and an overcoat, were made against Frank Edward Yates in the Police Court before Messrs. F. 11. Claxton and J. W. Danby, J.P.'s. Accused pleaded guilty. Sergeant MacNamara said accused had been remanded to appear at Napier on a charge of breaking and entering. Yates was convicted, but sentence was deferred until he has appeared at Napier on the other charge.
