MATCH AGAINST WAIKATO. AUCKLAND SIDE SELECTED. TEAMS TO VISIT WHANGAREI. Mr. W. Newsham, sole selector for the Auckland Hockey Association, has announced the following team to represent Auckland in the return match with Waikato to be played at Remuera on Saturday next, at 3 p.m.:—Goal. Four changes have been made in the team which visited Hamilton last month and was beaten by 3 goals to 1. Two Auckland hockey teams will visit Whangarei on Saturday next. The senior team will play Whangarei A, and the junior team will meet AVhangarei B as a curtainraiser. Clark. LADIES' ASSOCIATION. REPRESENTATIVE TRIAL GAMES. At the request, of the selectors, the executive of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association at its last meeting decided to arrange the ordinary fixtures so as to permit of representative trial matches being played for the "next two Saturdays. A match will be arranged for the country provincial representative team competing in the New Zealand tourney with an Auckland eleven on August 28. . . .' The Wesley Club was given permission to merge its junior teams into one. An application for a visit from an Auckland representative team was received from the Pneroa Association. It was decided to reply that the matter could, pot be Riven consideration until the New Zealand tourney had been completed. It was resolved that entrance fees for' the New Zealand tourney should be one shi ling for adults and sixpence for school children. TAURANGA BEATS TE PUKE.
